เมื่อวันที่ 10 ตุลาคม 2567 เวลา 09.30 น. Platform Thai MOOC ได้ดำเนินการซ้อมแผน หากเกิดเหตุการณ์เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์แม่ข่าย (Server) Thai MOOC Platform ไม่สามารถให้บริการได้ นำโดย รศ. ดร.ฐาปนีย์ ธรรมเมธา (ผู้อำนวยการโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย) รศ. ดร.อนุชัย ธีระเรืองไชยศรีชัยศรี (รองผู้อำนวยการโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย) และ ศ. ดร.จินตวีร์ คล้ายสังข์ (รองผู้อำนวยการโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย) ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ผู้เกี่ยวข้องได้เข้าใจบทบาทหน้าที่ ความรับผิดชอบตามที่กำหนดไว้ในแผน BCP และสามารถนำไปปฏิบัติในสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการทดสอบความสมบูรณ์ของระบบและประสิทธิผลของแผน BCP ด้วย โดยการฝึกซ้อมครั้งนี้มีหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วมการฝึกซ้อมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
โดยการฝึกซ้อม ได้กำหนดสถานการณ์สมมุติกรณีเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์แม่ข่าย (Server) Thai MOOC Platform ผู้ดูแลระบบพบว่าทั้งสองระบบถูกโจมตีโดยผู้ประสงค์ร้ายอาศัยช่องโหว่ทางระบบที่ยังไม่มีการออก Patch (Zero-day vulnerability) ซึ่งอาจก่อให้เกิดความเสี่ยงต่อความปลอดภัยของระบบสารสนเทศ ผู้ดูแลระบบจึงได้ ดำเนินการขออนุมัติการใช้แผนปฏิบัติการในสภาวะฉุกเฉิน (BCP) เพื่อลดผลกระทบและควบคุมสถานการณ์อย่างเร่งด่วน ให้ส่วนงานต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องได้ปฏิบัติตามมาตรฐานของขั้นตอนความพร้อมเมื่อเกิดอุบัติการณ์ระหว่างการใช้แผนความต่อเนื่องทางการเรียน และการฟื้นคืนสู่สภาพปกติ ซึ่งการฝึกซ้อมครั้งนี้สำเร็จลุล่วงไปด้วยดี ในเวลาอันรวดเร็ว
