วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาบุคลากรของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาให้มีทักษะความรู้ความเข้าใจ เกี่ยวกับกรอบและแนวทางการออกแบบระบบ micro – credentials ระดับอุดมศึกษาของไทย เพื่อเป็นแนวทางให้สถาบันการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาของไทยและผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องได้นำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการบริหารและจัดการระบบ micro – credentials ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดรวมถึงการดูแลคุณภาพ และเป็นเวทีให้ผู้บริหาร ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้การกำหนดทิศทางและนำเสนอตัวอย่างการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและรายวิชาการจัดการเรียนการสอน MOOCs สำหรับการเทียบโอนหน่วยกิตทั้งในประเทศ และต่างประเทศ
